EDSA: Hidden Truth Media is not Telling Us!

Hidden truths?

Titled “Ninoy + People Power: Hidden Truths the Media is not Telling Us!”, the video began gaining popularity in YouTube by the middle of last year and has since become viral. It has appeared or has been reposted in numerous websites and YouTube channels, and pops up repeatedly in FaceBook.

The video’s creator, who calls himself Baron Buchokoy, maintains a YouTube channel called PinoyMonkeyPride. As of mid-February, the video that was posted in Buchokoy’s YouTube account in June 2011 already has more than 200,000 views. Buchokoy implies that the video has had more views, saying that the video in fact was just re-uploaded “since the powers that be hacked and removed it recently from YouTube.”

This is proof, Buchokoy says in his introduction to the YouTube video, that “someone or some group is trying to hide the truth.”

“Please spread the message,” he adds. “Marcos is the least suspect in the Ninoy assassination and that only 2% of the 1986 Philippine population attended EDSA People Power. Let’s end Filipino ignorance. It ends now.”

IN THE past, such assertions had merely been dismissed as rumblings of Marcos sympathizers keen on putting their own spin into the history books to rehabilitate a fallen icon.

It is quite a mind-boggling exercise to put the question of why most Filipinos have such a screwed up memory of the events that unfolded after Edsa I. Four years after Marcos was ousted, Cory’s administration was highly criticized for its failure to deliver on the much-needed economic reforms and was plagued by allegations of corruption involving Cory’s wealthy and influential relatives – the same allegations they used to gave Marcos in the first place.

But for me it's a negative propaganda to Marcos and it is a benefits of the rich people in 80's.  My grandparents says in the time of Marcos presidency all things are nice and they mostly like the flow of progress of the philippines. For that I must not much convince of what the books says and what the media says because as of have also watch some videos some media networks are been close by Marcoses, so whom I believe now and whose telling the truth?

KALILANGAN 2016: RAVE PARTY

Kalilangan Festival is a festival held in General Santos City every year. This event is being celebrated in February and it showcases colorful parades and street dancing. The term “Kalilangan” means celebration, which is obviously why the locals are gathered every year to witness what the Kalilangan Festival has to offer. Not only the locals, but likewise tourists from other parts of the country are welcome to experience this event.
Kalilangan Festival also sees the unity of the different tribes, along with their respective crafts and items to trade, or for tourists to buy. This has become one of the most important events in General Santos City that showcases the culture and the heritage of the locals.
But one of the celebration got my attention the Rave Paryt. When the international DJ, DJ Tom Taus arrived that night Thursday on 25th of February 2016.  The DJ in our town announced it with pride the guest. But on my experience and what I saw that time our own fellow generals cannot adopt on what hte "Party Party" called it. Not all the people in the event enjoy it but we can see them in happy faces.

Rave Party was they called it when the DJ played his music and it must be a cheerful party.  Like what I have experienced in Manila, there are lots of party goers and mostly of them showed too much of appreciation of the music. Some dance like there was no tomorrow, It was great party at all because they liked it very much.

Because of that, I conclude that the civilization that we adopt here is not like in other place not only Manila but in other country we had seen. Here in General Santos, we are only particular and can relate in music like "Budots". (Pangkanto kumbaga Tot-tot-tot...) Because of that the only music that we heard was so different compare to the international DJ came here in played their music.
